AULANDER – Golden Peanut and Millennium Styles locked in a tight contest here Monday.

Millennium Styles scored seven times in the second stanza to take an 8-4 lead, but six runs in the third helped Golden Peanut rally for a 10-9 victory.

Taylor White picked up the pitching victory by going two innings for Golden Peanut and striking out two. Jessica Mobley struck out two and suffered the loss.

White was also one of the leading hitters for Golden Peanut, going 1-for-3 with a run scored. Amanda Outlaw was 1-for-2 with two runs scored.

Mandy Bazemore led Millennium Styles with a 2-for-3 effort that included two runs scored.

MWB scored in every inning, including 11 in the second stanza, to defeat MWB Repairs 20-11 Monday night.

Joseph Ginn was the winning pitcher. He went three innings and struck out five. Matt Calderado suffered the loss, pitching two innings and striking out five.

Cody Cobb and Tyler Burden led Ricky’s offensively. Each player was 2-for-4 with two runs scored. Michael Scott was 1-for-1 with two runs scored.

Ryan Perry, Woody Lowe and Clay Barmer each had one hit for MWB. Barmer and Perry scored two runs each.
