ELIZABETH CITY – The Northeastern Coastal Conference has released the 2008 All-Conference team in baseball.
Three of the players named to the All-Northeastern Coastal Conference team came from Bertie High School and Hertford County High School.
Bertie High School senior Aaron Hoggard was named to the First Team along with classmate Brent Bowen.

Chris Towell said he was proud of Joyner’s performance during the year and looking forward to next season.
“He led us in hitting this year,” Towell said. “He was also solid on the infield. I look forward to he and the rest of the guys being ready to go next year.”
Leading the way on the All-Conference team were league champion First Flight High School and runner-up Currituck County High School. Each team placed four players on the all-league squad.
