We all scream for ice cream

I have a sweet tooth so I love dessert.

One of my favorite kinds of dessert is ice cream.

Ice cream is especially delicious and refreshing in the summertime when it is so hot.

However, for me, ice cream is a food that can be eaten all year long, even when it is cold outside.

My theory is if I am going to eat ice cream, it needs to be good.

My friend Mr. Lee says there are three types of ice cream: vanilla, French vanilla and vanilla bean.

I disagree with him there.

I would rather have good stuff like chocolate, caramel, peanuts or candy in my ice cream.

I like vanilla ice cream if I eat apple pie or cobbler.

But if all I have is vanilla ice cream, you can bet I am going to put chocolate syrup, whipped cream, caramel syrup, nuts and cherries on the top.

There are so many different flavors of ice cream and I like trying new flavors sometimes.

When I go grocery shopping with my mom, I get excited when she lets me pick out the ice cream flavors we will buy.

That’s a big deal.

I remember one night we had gone to Wal-Mart and we were buying groceries and decided to get some ice cream.

It was kind of late and we were both tired.

We were at that point where everything was funny and made us laugh really hard.

My Aunt Jen calls that &uot;punch drunk.&uot;

Anyway, momma and I were walking down the frozen foods aisle and I was reading all of the different flavors.

We passed by the Ben and Jerry’s ice cream and all of a sudden we started laughing.

One of the flavors was Chubby Hubby.

Then we found another flavor Chunky Monkey that made us laugh.

Of course, we then had to look for all of the funny named ice creams.

It was hilarious and we both could not stop laughing.

One day momma and I bought fried ice cream.

I know they have it at Mexican restaurants, but I have never tried it before.

I could definitely taste the cinnamon in it, but I thought it was good.

One of my favorite flavors is cookie dough ice cream.

I usually like Bryers’ cookie dough the best.

My friend Victoria, who works at the ice cream place Cold Stone, has made me some cookie dough ice cream before.

It was great and it definitely gave Bryers a run for its money

One of the all-time favorite flavors at my house is Bryers’ triple chocolate.

This flavor is a combination of milk chocolate, dark chocolate and white chocolate.

When we get this flavor, I know that if I want any white chocolate, I need to get to the ice cream before Brooks does.

She likes the white chocolate the best, so she will just eat that flavor and leave the other two chocolates alone.

Another one of my favorite flavors is Rocky Road.

I also like Snickers flavored ice cream.

A Snickers bar is one of my favorite types of candy, so combine it with ice cream and you cannot go wrong.

Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup ice cream is also a good flavor.

I think that whoever thought to combine candy and ice cream was a very smart person.

My family also likes milk shakes.

Whenever we would go to the beach for a family vacation, we would go through a lot of ice cream and milk.

When we heard the blender, everyone who was downstairs would run up the stairs so we would be sure to get a milkshake before they were all gone.

Popsicles are another one of my favorite treats. Creamsicles and fudgesicles are the best, in my opinion.

Klondike bars are pretty famous.

I remember the commercials where somebody would do something crazy and then say, &uot;What would you do for a Klondike bar?&uot;

Those commercials were pretty silly and made me laugh.

And of course, who doesn’t like ice cream sandwiches?

Chocolate, strawberry, Neapolitan: they are all good.

Edy’s also makes good ice cream.

They make Dibs, which is ice cream in bite sizes.

The small box fits well in a dorm room freezer and the small servings didn’t make me feel as guilty about eating something that is so bad for me.

I have made myself hungry talking about ice cream so I think I will go see if we have any.

Maybe I will be in luck and we will have some Rocky Road.

Who knows?
