Pair arrested on drug charges

WINTON – A pair of Cofield men face multiple drug charges after law enforcement officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Tuesday night
According to Hertford County Sheriff Juan Vaughan, at approximately 9:30 p.m. officers were dispatched to Cofield in response to a call concerning fighting between females.
After arriving and investigating the disturbance, the officers made two arrests.
Cadarius Sutton, 21, of 114 Hertford Street, Cofield, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of alcohol in the passenger area of a vehicle.
Sutton was detained at the Hertford County Jail and placed under a $7,500 secured bond. Sutton’s first court appearance is August 4
Antonio Antwan Holley, 21, of 910 Highway 45 South, Cofield, was arrested and charged with driving with a revoked license, resistance, obstruction and delay and simple possession of marijuana.
Holley was detained at the Hertford County Jail and placed under a $4,000 secured bond. Holley’s first scheduled court appearance is September 12.
Vaughan wanted to commend the officers who responded to the call.
