WINTON – The doors of Sheila Privott’s office are intact.
The Hertford County Board of Elections Director hasn’t had anyone beating them down in the opening days of filing.
Prospective candidates for three seats on the Hertford County Board of Education began at noon Friday, however, no one had filed for the vacancies as of 5 p.m. Monday afternoon.
&uot;It’s been very quiet,&uot; Privott said. &uot;We haven’t had anyone come in to file. In fact, there haven’t even been any phone calls.&uot;
