4-H Livestock buyers announced

MURFREESBORO – While area were youngsters where showing off their animal handling skills at the Hertford-Northampton 4H Livestock show on June 13, some members of the audience viewed the animals with more than showmanship on their minds.

Agents of the Hertford County Farm Bureau, Severn Peanut, Jesse E. Vaughan Farms, Mass Mutual, Phil Coggins Agency and Lee & Revelle Attorneys purchased the Reserve Champion Lamb, shown by Cameron Taylor.

Other buyers from the event were:

Rich and Rich Auction purchased the Grand Champion Steer shown by Jimmy Baker.

Murfreesboro Farms and Metal Tech purchased the Grand Champion Hog shown by Shirley Lee Spruill.

Northampton County Farm Bureau and Gay Implement bought the Reserve Champion Hog shown by James Sykes.

Northampton County Farm Bureau and Boone’s Farm Supply purchased the Grand Champion Goat shown by Matt Ellison.

Metal Tech and Murfreesboro Farms bought the Reserve Champion Goat shown by Mallory Ward.
