Nora Y. Hyde

SHINNSTON, W.Va. – Nora Yvonne Hyde, 69, a native of Folsom, died May 22, 2006, at her residence. She was the widow of John H. Hyde.

Survivors include four sons, Danny Hyde of Bridgeport, Michael Hyde, Darren Hyde of Gates County and Devin Hyde of Clarksburg; four daughters, Debbie Stout of Shinnston, Denise Moore of Waterford, Ohio, Dawn Clevenger of Sardis, and Deena Kendall of Sardis; two half sisters; 28 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Ave., Bridgeport. Graveside committal services will follow at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Hood Cemetery in Folsom, W.Va.

Lebron W. Britt Sr.

AHOSKIE n Lebron W. Britt Sr., died May 20, 2006 at Brian Center Health & Rehabilitation Center, Windsor.

A funeral will be conducted at 12 noon Saturday at Zion Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Elbert Lee. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A wake will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday night at Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel, Ahoskie.

Survivors include two sons, Lebron W. Britt Jr. and William D. Britt, both of Ahoskie; two daughters, Lucraide Eason and Barbara Granger, both of Hampton, Va.; one sister, Bernice Cherry of Windsor; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

William Bazemore

COFIELD – William Edgar Bazemore, 74, a native of Hertford County, died May 24, 2006, at his home.

Bazemore was a member of Harrellsville Baptist Church and the Wiccaccon Masonic Lodge #240. He was retired as Postmaster for Cofield and was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Annie W. Bazemore; a daughter, Temperance B.

Castelow of Ahoskie; sons, William Michael Bazemore and Alan Foster Bazemore, both of Cofield; a sister, Elizabeth Miller of Windsor; eight grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be conducted at 2 p.m.

Friday at Garrett Funeral Home Chapel, Ahoskie, by the Rev. Jimmy Jarrell.

Burial will be in the Bazemore family cemetery, Highway 45, Cofield.

The family will receive friends at Garrett Funeral Home from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Thursday, and other times at the home.
