The Tee & Sea was started in 1993 to benefit the Windsor Fire Department. Proceeds from this event benefit the community by allowing the fire department to buy much needed equipment and supplies.
The Windsor Fire Department’s mission is to assist the public in the protection of life and property by minimizing the impact of fire and potential disasters or events that affect the community and environment.
Formed in 1939, it is a volunteer fire department with 36 active members operating out of one station. Those dedicated members have two pumpers, one tanker and one equipment truck at their disposal. The Windsor firefighters cover approximately 75 square miles with a population of around 7,089. They also assist surrounding fire departments with mutual aid.
The Tee & Sea is the department’s major fundraiser and all support is greatly appreciated.
