JACKSON – A Gaston man was jailed last week following allegations from a six-month-old incident.

Jarren Tarell Squire, whose address is listed as 174 Sandy Ridge Lane, was arrested Friday by Captain Daryl Harmon and the Northampton County Sheriff’s Office on counts of taking indecent liberties with a minor.

Squire, who made his first appearance Monday, was arrested on charges that stem from three incidents that allegedly occurred in September 2005.

He was placed in the Northampton County Jail under a $25,000 cash bond.
