Beale and Coggins married in Tennessee

GATLINBURG, Tenn. – Elizabeth Conner Beale of Jackson and Jeffrey Taylor Coggins of Conway exchanged vows in a private family ceremony on August 30, 2003, in Gatlinburg, Tenn.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Joseph Beale III of Jackson. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John H. Parker of Jackson, Mrs. Nell H. Gay of Seaboard and the late Mr. William Beale Jr. of Jackson.

The bridegroom is the son of David E. Coggins of Conway. He is the grandson of the late T. Carl Taylor of Faison Old Tavern, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Coggins of Conway.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory matte satin A-line gown. The gown featured a halter top and a sweep train. The bride wore a crown of pearls with a fingertip length veil adorned with pearls. She carried a hand tied bouquet of wild flowers.

Ms. Jo Anne Lee Beale of Jackson, sister of the bride, served as the maid of honor.

Mr. David Coggins, father of the groom served as his son’s best man.

Immediate family members attended the ceremony at the Chapel by the Stream in Gatlinburg.

The bride is a graduate of Northeast Academy and Meredith College. She is employed with the State of North Carolina as a Child Nutrition Program Consultant.

The groom is a graduate of Northampton County High School East. He farms with his family.

The couple honeymooned in Gatlinburg and then on a cruise to the Bahamas. They now reside in Conway.

The bride’s parents hosted a dinner at the Park Vista Hotel in Gatlinburg following the ceremony. The couple cut their wedding cake at this time.

A dinner hosted by the grooms parents was given the night prior to the wedding at The Open Hearth Restaurant in Gatlinburg.

A luncheon and surprise shower was hosted by the Northampton County Health Department employees.
