Winnie Pugh

WINDSOR -Winnie Pugh, died October 24, 2003.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Mount Olive Baptist Church, Lewiston. Gilliam Funeral Home is in charge.

Robert L. Myers

CONWAY – Robert Lee Myers, 63, a native of Harrison County, W.Va., died October 27, 2003, at his home.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Conway United Methodist Church by the Rev. John Butson. The family will be receiving friends at the home of Kathleen Collins, 209 South Church St., Conway. Bridgers Funeral Home, Inc., Conway, is in charge.

Myers was retired from the Department of Refuse in Tampa, Fla.

Survivors include two daughters, Jeanine Meyers and Sharon Myers, both of Greenville, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Kathleen Collins of Conway and Linda Bender of Pittsburg; a brother, Charles Myers of Tampa; and two grandsons.

Willie Vaughan

AHOSKIE – Mrs. Willie Vaughan, died October 28, 2003, at Guardian Care Nursing Home, Ahoskie.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at New Ahoskie Baptist Church by the Rev. Patrick Young. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. A wake will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Reynolds Funeral Home, Inc., Ahoskie, is in charge.

Mrs. Vaughan was a member of New Ahoskie Baptist Church, served on the usher board, choir member and missionary. She was also a member of the Elk Lodge.

David Outlaw

WINDSOR – David Outlaw, died October 28, 2003, at Bertie Memorial Hospital, Windsor.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Reynolds Funeral Home, Inc., Ahoskie, is in charge.

Al R. Wiggins

KELFORD – Al Revelle Wiggins, 34, a native of Hertford County, died October 3, 2001.

A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Mill Branch Baptist Church by the Rev. Ronald Dolberry. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Wilder’s Funeral Home, Aulander, is in charge.

Wiggins graduated from Ahoskie High School in 1988 and was a member of Mill Branch Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Da’Monta A. Wiggins of Lewiston; his mother and stepfather, Mary and Willie Johnson of Kelford; a brother, Tim Wiggins of Raleigh; a sister, Michelle Wiggins of Kelford; his grandmother, Janie Hardy of Kelford; four stepsisters, Karen Johnson of Kelford, Mary Johnson, Venessa Teal and Julius Teal, all of New York; and two stepbrothers, Willie Johnson Jr. of Colerain and Cornell Parker of New York.

Brack Sessoms Sr.

CHESAPEAKE, Va. – Brack G. Sessoms Sr., died October 24, 2003, at his residence.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church Powellsville by the Rev. Lafayette Riddick. Burial will be in the Sessoms family cemetery, Powellsville. A wake will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Graves Funeral Home, Norfolk, Va. Reynolds Funeral Home, Inc., Ahoskie, is in charge.

Sessoms was a member of First Baptist Church Powellsville and a member of Excelsior Lodge #809.

Survivors include a son, Brack Sessoms Jr. of Chesapeake; a daughter, Eunice Brandon of Fort Washington, Md.; two brothers, Simon Sessoms of Portsmouth and John Sessoms of Powellsville; and three grandchildren.
