WILMINGTON – Myra Phelps Theodorakis, 79, of Wilmington passed away December 19, 2014 in Kinston, NC. She was born in HertfordCounty on January 7, 1935 to the late John Reuben Phelps and Fannie Tayloe Phelps.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas S. Theodorakis. She is survived by two sons, Anthony Theodorakis and wife Kim of Wilmington, and Gregory Theodorakis and wife Frances of Kinston, as well as three grandsons, John & Luke Theodorakis of Wilmington, and Alex Theodorakis of Fuquay.

A celebration of her life will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the First Presbyterian Church in Kinston with Pastor Wanda Neely officiating.

The family would like to thank the many friends and family members for their love & support. A special thank you to nieces Linda Dunn of Snow Hill, Sharon Kooney of Oak Island and Dee Rogers of Charlotte.
