RICH SQUARE – James “Jimmy” Robert Warren, age 69, passed away November 3, 2013 at Rich Square Health Care in Rich Square.

Jimmy was born June 17, 1944 in Northampton County, NC, the son of the late Robert Edgar Warren and Martha Evelyn Allen Warren. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Jane Warren Ivey. He served in the Vietnam War and was by trade a carpenter.

Survivors include his wife Brenda Vaughan Warren of Rich Square; his two daughters, Angie Warren Todd (Ricky) of Rich Square, and Beverly Warren Ellen (George) of Rocky Mount; six grandchildren, Stephanie Todd, Mandy Jackson, Michael Todd, Tessa Tyler, Robert Ellen, and Nicholas Ellen; two great-grandchildren, Alex Hernandez and Noah Todd; a sister, Margie Warren Campbell (Jake) of Conway; and a very special family dog, “Henry.”

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Roxobel-Kelford Cemetery in Roxobel with the Rev. Doug Spivey officiating.

The family will receive friends at Massey Funeral Home in Jackson on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. and other times at the home place, 1521 Tyler Road, Rich Square.
