AULANDER – Vera Mae Bazemore Jennings, 81, of Sandpiper Square, Aulander, died Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at Beulah Church of God, Ahoskie. Burial will be in the Honeywood-Cherry Family Cemetery, Aulander. Wilder’s Funeral Home, Aulander, is handling the arrangements.
