AHOSKIE – Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Harrell Morris, age 76, of Ahoskie died Wednesday, February 21, 2013 at Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie.

Mrs. Morris was born March 18, 1936 in Edgecombe County, the daughter of the late Daniel Harrell and Bettie Harrell.  She was also predeceased by her first husband, Walter Webb; her second husband, Eley Jackson Morris; a daughter, Helen King; and a son, Oral Robert Webb.

Mrs. Morris is survived by her children, Rita Webb Liverman, Elizabeth Webb Sweat, Edward Earl Webb, Vernon Levi Webb and Walter Webb Jr.; a step son, Eley Jackson Morris Jr.; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Earlys Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronald McSwain officiating.  Burial followed at Highland Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, Rita Liverman.
