GATES – Shirley M. Ballard of Sarem Road, Gates, died Thursday, January 24, 2013 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Ballard Family Cemetery. Hunter’s Funeral Home, Gates, is handling the arrangements.
