PENDLETON – Robert Barnes, 91, died Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at his home.

He had been preceded in death by his parents, David Hudson Barnes and Georgia Woodard Barnes, and by six brothers and sisters, Airey Maddrey, Stanley Barnes, Audrey Harper, George Barnes, David H. Barnes, and Lokie Barnes.

Mr. Barnes was an area farmer and a lifelong member of Robert’s Chapel Baptist Church in Pendleton.

He is survived by one sister, Foy B. Fisher of Pendleton, and by many nieces and nephews.

His graveside service will be held Sunday, November 25, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. with Dr. James Crocker presiding.
