Mr. and Mrs. Faron H. Mizelle of Elm Grove announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jordan R. Mizelle, to Brian T. Parker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul T. Parker Jr. of Aulander. Grandparents of the bride are Rena L. Mizelle of Elm Grove and the late Herman F. Mizelle, and Mr. and Mrs. Adolph M. Harrell of Powellsville. Grandparents of the groom are the late Paul T. Parker (Como) and the late Margaret N. Hock (Franklin,VA), and Benjamin F. Deanes of Murfreesboroand the late Lessie V. Deanes. The bride is a 2009 graduate of Pitt Community College and is now employed with NCDOT. The groom is a 2009 graduate of East Carolina University and is now employed with Nucor Steel. The couple will exchange wedding vows at 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 1 at Elm Grove Baptist Church.
