NASHVILLE, NC – Barbara Brown Miltenberger “Bobbie” Henson, age 97, died Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at Autumn Care of Nashville.
Mrs. Henson was born on December 15, 1914, in Shelby, TN, a daughter of the late Morey and Sarah Von Hinrichs Brown. She was formerly of Ahoskie and a former member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church. She was the widow of Frederick Miltenberger and Paul Henson.  She was well known for her musical talent as she was an accomplished musician.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Barbara M. Erwin of Marsing, ID; her son, Fred Miltenberger of Scottsdale, AZ; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Ahoskie with the Rev. Jeff Douglas officiating. The ashes will be scattered in the memorial garden of the church.
