WINTON – The final date for farmers to nominate persons to serve on the Hertford FSA County Committee is August 1.

The nomination form must be received in the County Office or postmarked no later than August 1, 2011.  Any eligible FSA voter in the county can nominate someone else, or themselves, to be on the ballot, but the person nominated must be a farmer and live in the Murfreesboro-Como FSA Local Administrative Area (LAA 2).  Ballots will be mailed to eligible voters in LAA 2 on November 4 and must be returned to the FSA Office no later than close of business on December 5.
