Zeta Phi Beta Sorority inducts five

AHOSKIE – Members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated (local chapter in Ahoskie) announces that five young ladies were inducted into the Sorority on June 1 during an event held at Quinton’s Restaurant.

The inductees are Carrie S. Douglas of Ahoskie, Angel J. Eure of Portsmouth, VA, Kelly L. Eure of Eure, Rachel Perry of Ahoskie, and Nicole N. Spruill of Chesapeake, VA.

Sorority members involved with the Induction Ceremony were Soror Emily Cross, President of the local chapter, Sorors Bernice Carter, Ethlene Custis, LaGina Hanson, Clarece Holley, Clara Horton, Katie Lee, and Janie Smith, and visiting Soror Carla Riddick from Clarksburg, MD.

A reception was immediately held following the Induction Ceremony for family and friends.

The newly inducted Sorors entered the room with a “Stroll”. Upon the conclusion of the Stroll, each Soror introduced themselves with a bio-poem.

Other attendees were Brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., along with John Horton, visiting Sorors and other Greeks.

Refreshments were served and gifts were given to the new Sorors.
