WOODLAND – Tommi Ann Hall Bryant, age 63, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025, at the ECU Health Hospice House in Pitt County, North Carolina. She was born on October 24, 1961, and embraced a life full of love, grace, and warmth.
Tommi devoted many years to her work, cherishing her time dispatching trucks for Victory Transport. Later, she found joy in the lively pace of waitressing, where her cheerful demeanor brightened the days of her patrons.
A die-hard Carolina Tarheel fan, Tommi’s passion especially shone through during basketball season. Her garden was her sanctuary, a testament to her love of nature and flowers. Those who knew her understood her as a kind soul who was always willing to lend a hand wherever needed and an embodiment of the phrase “never met a stranger.”
Her favorite time of year was Christmas, where her home transformed into a winter wonderland adorned with multiple beautifully decorated trees—a true reflection of her festive spirit.
Tommi is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Sandra Stewart Hall, father Jimmy Rose, brother Joshua Hall, and dear brothers-in-law, Norman and Edward Bryant.
She leaves behind a loving family and many friends who will miss her dearly. She is survived by her devoted husband, Stuart Bryant; her cherished second mama, Judy Soper Warren of Woodland; sister Katherine Stewart Cullipher (Johnny) of Aulander; step-son Jason Bryant (Sam) of Youngsville, NC; her adored nieces and nephew, Makalay, Madison, Olivia Skye, and Jesse Cullipher, all of Aulander; her adored fur baby, Bella, and kittys, Molly and Pebbles. Her legacy is further carried by her uncle Larry Stewart of Gatesville, and aunts Carolyn Martin, Jeane Shearon, Ruth Felton, Elizabeth Huddleston, and Mona Rose, all of Ahoskie. She is also remembered with love by her sister-in-law Jean Bryant of Woodland, brother-in-law Harold Bryant of Woodland, her great nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends—and not forgetting Boone, her beloved grandog. Tommi Ann Hall Bryant will be remembered for her boundless kindness, her infectious laugh, and the splendid joy she brought into every room. Her memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of all who loved her.
