Northampton County native Patrick Bryant has accepted new roles with Nucor Steel.

Bryant, a Northeast Academy and Chowan University graduate, is now the IT Divisions Manager at Nucor Steel Cold Finish in Darlington, SC and Nucor Vulcraft in Florence, SC.
The promotion was effective on May 5.
He will also continue his role as IT Divisions Manager for Nucor Steel – Lexington.
Bryant’s career with Nucor began in 2017 where he worked in IT at the steel mill in Hertford County. He progressed to IT Support Specialist and advanced to IT Supervisor at Nucor Steel in Utah in 2020.
He transferred to Nucor Business Technologies in December 2022, managing IT divisions for Nucor Steel Utah and Kingman, Arizona.
Bryant then transitioned to Nucor Steel’s new mill in Lexington, NC and Nucor Steel in Frostproof, Florida.
Bryant holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Chowan University. He enjoys gaming, college football, riding his motorcycle and visiting family in northeastern North Carolina.
He and his wife, Jennafer, are the parents of two daughters, Mackenzie and Laura, and a son, Logan.
