Peele earns Doctorate in Dentistry

GREENVILLE – Kaisi Azaria Peele, daughter of Casey B. Peele and Lila P. Peele of Ahoskie, earned a Doctorate in Dentistry this past weekend at East Carolina University.

A 2017 graduate of Hertford County High School, Dr. Peele continued her academic journey at North Carolina A&T State University and later at East Carolina University where her hard work, dedication, and perseverance culminated in earning her Doctorate in Dentistry.
Dr. Peele has made history as the first African American female dentist from Hertford County, marking a significant milestone in both local and professional communities.
“I hope to serve as a beacon of inspiration for younger generations, exemplifying perseverance, excellence, and the belief that all things are possible,” Dr. Peele stated.
Over the next year, Dr. Peele will continue her commitment to service at the East Carolina University Community Service Learning Center (ECU CSLC) in Ahoskie, where she looks forward to further contributing to the health and well-being of the community she proudly serves.
