WINDSOR – Are you looking for a fun and impactful way to spend your summer? Do you have a child enrolled in Bertie County 4-H summer camps? Then mark your calendars for an informative evening.!
Bertie County 4-H is hosting a volunteer and parent summer camp info night at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 15. This is a great opportunity for interested adults and teens to learn about volunteering opportunities for the upcoming 4-H summer camps. Parents of enrolled campers are also strongly encouraged to attend to get all the details about the exciting summer programs planned.
Teen and adult volunteers play a vital role in the success of 4-H summer camps, providing mentorship and support to young participants as they engage in a variety of educational and fun activities. This info night will cover the different volunteer roles available, time commitments, and the positive impact volunteers make on the lives of local youth.
The meeting will be held at the Bertie Cooperative Extension Office, located at 104 Lancaster Avenue in Windsor.
