AHOSKIE – The public is encouraged to offer information that will possibly help solve a hit-and-run accident.

ECU Health Police are actively investigating a suspected hit-and-run that occurred around 5 p.m. on April 15 on Camlin Street near ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie.

A public relations official with ECU Health said the incident took place on property owned by ECU Health. There was no information provided as to the identity of the victim, any injuries that may have occurred due to the hit-and-run, or what type of vehicle was involved.
