EURE – The Gates County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance to help identify three individuals that stole several bottles of liquor from the ABC Store on Saturday, March 15.

Gates County Sheriff Ray Campbell said the three suspects, each wearing masks and hoods, entered the ABC Store on US 13 South, at around 6:30 p.m.

“They grabbed several liquor bottles and ran out without paying,” Campbell said.

The suspects were observed on a surveillance camera getting out of and back into a white-colored 4-door car.

After leaving the store, that vehicle traveled north on US 13. It traveled a short distance towards Virginia; however, the vehicle was observed making a U-turn north of Tarheel BBQ and headed south on US 13 towards Hertford County.

The Gates County Sheriff’s Office requests assistance from local citizens and citizens from surrounding counties with identifying the three males.
