GATES – Linie V. Briggs, 96, of Gates died Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, Elizabeth City. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, March 14, 2025 at St. John AME Zion Church, Sunbury. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, is handling the arrangements
