The snow will spread into the region Wednesday morning, with the heaviest amounts failing Wednesday afternoon and evening before tapering off. An additional burst of snow (approximately one-half inch) is possible prior to 12 noon on Thursday.

Travel is expected to become extremely difficult by Wednesday afternoon. Stay off the roads if at all possible. If you do have to travel, consider taking a blanket, food, and water along with a flashlight in case you become stranded.
