MERRY HILL – Walter Alexander Carter, Sr., 62, of Merry Hill died Monday, December 4, 2023 at ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Windsor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Wilder’s Chapel of Windsor is handling the arrangements.
