HARRELLSVILLE – Julia Kay “Judy” Holloman Robertson, age 80, of Sunset Street, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Robertson was born on July 22, 1942 to Elwood Lawrence Holloman and Dorothy Mae Baker Holloman in Colerain, NC. Judy was a devoted hairdresser for 60 years, starting out in Ahoskie. She cherished her clients and the friendships that she made during her years of service. Judy was a dedicated member of Harrellsville Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and working on crafts. Judy loved her family and will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Along with her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jesse Robertson, and her brother, Donald Holloman.

Judy is survived by her two daughters, Katrina Dunlow and husband Shane of Windsor, and Karla Taylor of Harrellsville; four granddaughters, Kaitlyn Dunlow of Aulander, Andrea Smith and husband Shane of Ahoskie, Tori Dunlow of Tennessee, and Christy Taylor of Harrellsville; two grandsons, Jacob Dunlow of Windsor, and Samuel Taylor of Harrellsville; two great grandsons, Colt, and Connor Smith; a sister, Phyllis Neuenfeldt and husband Tom of Minnesota; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 6:30-8 p.m. at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service, Ahoskie, NC.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the Harrellsville Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Crabtree, and Rev. Joe Lassiter officiating. There will be a private burial at Harrellsville Cemetery, Harrellsville, NC.
