Ahoskie Christian wins three of four vs. Northeast

AHOSKIE – Ahoskie Christian School posted wins in three of its four home games here Tuesday in non-conference basketball action vs. Northeast Academy.

ACS won both varsity games.

In the girls contest, ACS pulled away from a narrow 20-19 halftime lead as the Warriors heated up in the third quarter. There, ACS outscored the Lady Eagles 22-4 en route to collecting a 52-27 win.

Morgan Wadsworth led Ahoskie Christian with 17 points.

Hayes Hatcher tallied a game-high 18 points to pace Northeast.

In the varsity boys game, ACS rolled to a 29-6 halftime lead en route to a 56-17 win over the Eagles.

Tyler Berryman led Ahoskie Christian with 17 points.

Payton Brinkley, Nathan Trevino, and Judson Smith each scored four points to lead Northeast.

Ahoskie Christian’s jayvee boys used a 15-point performance from Jaylin Rascoe to collect a 38-21 win. Jake Parks and Camden White each scored five points to pace Northeast.

The visitors won the evening’s opening game as the Northeast jayvee girls defeated their hosts, 21-10. Arland Davis tallied 10 points to lead Northeast. Kinsley Dunlow scored six points to top the Ahoskie Christian scorebook.
