AULANDER – Aulander Medical Practice, PA, welcomes two new providers to join Dr. Semaan El-Khoury in caring for patients in the local community.

Laurie Nilsen, a Certified Registered Family Nurse Practitioner, has 15 years of experience in caring for patients with five of those years as a primary care family nurse practitioner in trauma hospitals and private practice. “Laurie will provide our patients with competent, compassionate evidence-based care for every patient and family member,” stated Dr. El-Khoury.

Nilsen became a full-time provider at Aulander Medical Practice on Oct. 17.

Calvin Parker is a certified Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with advanced clinical skills in Gerontology management of patients over 65 years of age. He has extensive clinical experience from is work at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, UNC at Nash General, and UNC Rex Healthcare and currently works full time in a primary care office in Goldsboro, NC.

“Calvin is compassionate and committed to deliver patient centered care and treatment to all our patients,” said Dr. El-Khoury.

Parker joined Aulander Medical Practice in September 2022 in a part-time position.
