ELIZABETH CITY – Helen M. Mitchell, 78, of Elizabeth City, formerly of Gates, died Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at The Citadel Elizabeth City Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Joppa Baptist Church, Hobbsville. Burial will follow in Kee Family Cemetery, Hobbsville. Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, is handling the arrangements.
