APEX – Fran Klein Overton, 74, of Apex, entered into her eternal home Monday, March 21, 2022.

Fran was born October 7, 1947 in Camden, NJ to the late Charles Bruno Klein and Frances Laura Myers. She was a graduate of East Carolina University. Fran was a retired school teacher and enjoyed serving others. She was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Overton.

Fran is survived by her sons, Russ Overton (Kristy), and Neal Overton (Daneta); brothers, Steve Klein, and Charlie Klein; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kate, Elise, Acacia, Avery, and Michael; and great grandchild, Violet.

A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Salem Baptist Church in Apex.
