ST. JOHN – Franklin “Frank” McCoy Peede, Jr., age 71, of St. John-Millennium Road, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 4, 2022 at his home.

Frank was born on January 3, 1951 to Franklin McCoy Peede, Sr. and Nancy Robertson Peede in Martin County, North Carolina. Frank spent his life working as a pipefitter. He cherished his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan and loved going to car shows. He was loved by his family and friends and will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin McCoy Peede, Sr., and a sister, Phyllis Peede Early.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Kathy; his daughter, Angela Hope Peede of Newsoms, VA; his son, Franklin Neil Peede of Wilson, NC; his mother, Nancy Peede of Aulander, NC; a brother, Ronnie Peede and wife Andrea of Rocky Mount, NC; three sisters, Connie Poland and husband Tucker of Courtland, VA, Pat Perry and husband Tim of Pendleton, NC, and Sonya Chamblee and husband David of Colerain, NC; a granddaughter, Kayley Linton of New Bern, NC; a grandson, Christopher Pate Peede of Newsoms, VA; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The family gathered and received friends on Monday evening, February 7, 2022 at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service, Ahoskie, NC.
