WINDSOR – Adolph Odom, 82, of Bull Hill Road, Windsor passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 at Vidant Bertie Hospital. Adolph was born in Hertford County on June 22, 1939 to the late Joe John and Lettie Harrell Odom. He was predeceased by his brothers, Shelton, James, and David Odom; and sisters, Carolyn Hollowell, Eleanor Lemmond, and Shirley Bryant. Adolph was a member and deacon of Republican Baptist Church. He graduated from Aulander High School. He retired from Maola Milk and Ice Cream Company after 43 years of service.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Republican Baptist Church.  Rev. Dennis Conner and Rev Howard Taylor will officiate. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Mollie White Odom of the home. On June 26, 1960, they were married. She was his high school sweetheart and for 61 years she was the love of his life. He is also survived by his son, Adolph Michael Odom and wife Lorie of Windsor; grandson, Austin Michael Odom and granddaughter, Victoria Elizabeth Odom and her friend Jared Speight all of Windsor; brother, George Odom of Tyner, NC; brother-in-law, Reddick White and wife Pearl of Windsor; and several nephews and nieces.

The family will receive friends on January 3, 2022 from 6-7:30 p.m. at Walker Funeral. Covid protocols will be in effect.

The family asks that due to Covid that their privacy be respected at other times.
