MURFREESBORO – Murfreesboro Christmas Magic has three surprise guests coming to town this year. Three gigantic moose have strolled in from Maine and are grazing in different locations. Since they are over seven feet tall, you will definitely not miss them. They will arrive on Friday, Nov. 26.

Town officials want to name these new Murfreesboro citizens. A contest to name each moose is being held and the winners will receive two complimentary tickets to the Murfreesboro Candlelight Christmas Tour, courtesy of the Murfreesboro Historical Association.

A sign with the Moose’s name and the winner’s name will be displayed at each Moose.

Names will be announced on WDLZ-FM 98.3 – Jay Jenkins Morning Show on December 1.
