AHOSKIE – Kathryn Hall Davis, 72, of Myers Street, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021 at Vidant Roanoke Chowan Hospital.

Mrs. Davis was born on March 17, 1949 to Edwin Campbell Hall and Sarah Daughtry Hall in Bertie County, NC. Kathryn worked as a physical therapist assistant for Vidant Roanoke Chowan Hospital. Kathryn loved her family dearly and cherished her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, cooking, canning, camping, and visiting shut ins. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard Lee Davis; and two brothers, Bobby and Billy Hall.

Kathryn is survived by her daughter, Heather Davis Bourn and husband Tracy; her son, Christopher Neal Davis and wife Wendy, both of Murfreesboro; three grandsons, Hunter Smith of Ahoskie, Joe Bourn, and Trent Davis, both of Murfreesboro; three granddaughters, Marykathryn Bourn, Alexis Davis, and Madison Davis, all of Murfreesboro; and a brother, James Hall of Nags Head, NC.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service, Ahoskie, NC.

A celebration of life funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Highland Memorial Gardens, Ahoskie, NC, with Rev. Ray Faircloth, Sr. and Rev. Ray Faircloth, Jr. officiating.
