GATES, NC – Debra Joann Zick Williams, 70, of 483 Paige Riddick Road, Gates, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 17, 2021.

Mrs. Williams was born in Michigan on February 9, 1951, and was the daughter of the late Verl Clifford Zick and Joan Pearl Guy Zick Hubble. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lewis Williams; a grandson, Alex Parsain; sisters, Linda and Dorothy; and by brothers, Terry, Sam, Calvin, and William.

A homemaker and caregiver, she was a member of Reynoldson Baptist Church where she enjoyed participating in various activities with the Ladies Group.

Surviving is her daughter, Angie Parsain (husband, Fred); a son, Jason Williams (wife, Jenn); four grandchildren, Emily, Ethan, Elise, and Ranae (husband, Shawn); a great-grandson, Evan; two brothers, Dale and Stanley; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Tuesday, September 21 at 3:00 p.m. in Reynoldson Baptist Church, and will be conducted by her pastor, the Rev. Cody Brinkley. A private inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.

With the resurgence of the Covid Virus in the area, no formal visitation is planned. For those who wish to view the services online, it will be recorded and posted to the Facebook page of Reynoldson Baptist Church.
