WINDSOR – With the threat of rain in Saturday’s forecast, the Seafood & Music Street Festival slated for here on Aug. 7 will be held on Sunday, Aug. 8.

The event – hosted by the Bertie Alumni Community Association, in conjunction with the Windsor-Bertie Chamber of Commerce – will be held from 1-6 p.m. on Granville Street, the block between King and Queen streets.

The festival will have food trucks and other food vendors featuring various menu items. Other vendors will offer crafts, clothing, shoes, jewelry, hair and skin products, and merchandising items.

There will also be a car and bike show display at the old IGA parking lot located at 205 E. Granville Street.

All proceeds will benefit the BACA nonprofit scholarship and community program.
