Albert Magnussen, Jr. was born on June 12, 1958 in Brockton, Massachusetts to the late Albert Magnussen, Sr. and Natalie Crichton. He departed this life on June 19, 2021.

Albert attended Bristol Aggie Agricultural School in Brockton, Massachusetts. He then went on to attend college. In 1977 Albert enlisted in the United State Marine Corps and proudly served for ten years. After his service in the Marine Corp, Albert became the superintendent for EMI Construction.

Albert was happily married to his love Gail Medeiros for 44 years. This beautiful union produced two sons, Albert III and Corey; and a daughter, Shannon. The Magnussen’s found the beautiful Gates County, NC in 2005 and made it their home.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his loving wife, Gail Magnussen; two sons, Albert Magnussen III, and Corey Magnussen; and a daughter, Shannon Magnussen. He also leaves a host of relatives and friends.

A service of celebration will take place on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 11:00 am at Upper Room Assembly Church, Gatesville, and a viewing and visitation will be held on Monday, June 28, 2021 from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Community of Hope Funeral Service, Hobbsville. The final resting place for Mr. Magnussen will be at Albert G. Horton Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk, VA.
