AHOSKIE – Harold Saunders Outlaw, 86, 117 Hollowell Rd, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Caromont Medical Center in Gastonia, NC.

Mr. Outlaw was born at home on January 13, 1935 to Bennie Lloyd and Lillie Marie Outlaw in Hertford County, NC. Harold was a truck driver. He served in the NC National Guard for 12 years during the Korean war time. He loved the Lord and his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents Mr. Bennie and Ms. Lillie; and his sisters, Shirley Outlaw, Margie Jones, Dinah Ray and Marion Minton.

Left to cherish Harold’s memory are his sister, Linda Marie Outlaw of Millennium; son, Hal Chris Outlaw of Hickory; daughter, Lorna Wynne Outlaw Bateman and husband Douglas of Gastonia and daughter, Natasha Leah Outlaw of Mars Hill; grandchildren, Nick, Lauren, Sebastian, Savannah, John, and Mallory; great-grandchildren, Salem, Journey and Rylan; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be Saturday, January 30, 2021, at 12 p.m. at Job cemetery. Family will gather at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service, Ahoskie, NC before proceeding to the cemetery for the graveside service.
