Eagles race past Bethel

Northeast Academy used its defense to set the tone for a 70-0 win over Bethel in junior varsity football action on Oct. 1.

The Eagles scored five times defensively and once on special teams to run its season record to 2-0.

Dawson Vann had four interceptions, returning three for touchdowns (90, 40, and 30 yards). He also added a 44-yard touchdown run on offense.

Jayden Watts had a “pick six” for 42 yards and also scooped up a fumble that he returned 50 yards for a touchdown.

Heath Hobbs started the game with a bang….returning the opening kickoff 60 yards for a score.

Dalton Vann had two rushing touchdowns and Camden White took a toss sweep to the endzone from seven yards out.

Nathan Trevino added a rushing touchdown. He also played well defensively, recording seven tackles.
