FRANKLIN, VA – Travis Lee Rawls, 38, passed away July 14, 2020 in Sentara Obici Hospital.

Travis was a 1999 graduate of Northampton County High School East and was a US Marine Corps Veteran and was a member of the NC Army National Guard. He worked several years for Bertie Correctional Facility and was a Nuclear Quality Inspector at Huntington Ingalls Shipbuilding.

Travis attended the Rock Church of Franklin, VA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the beach, and spending time with his family. Travis was fun-loving and had a positive impact in the lives of others.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lauren Bradley Rawls; two daughters, Alaina Rawls and Cameron Parker; a son, Jaxon Rawls; his parents Joe Rawls (Vickie) and Terri Parker Kirk (Robert); his brother Joey Rawls (Shannon); paternal grandmother, Betty Jo Rawls; maternal grandmother, Janice Parker; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2020 in the Rock Church of Franklin, VA with Pastor Danny Dillon officiating.
