AHOSKIE, NC – Larry Carl White, 66, of Ahoskie, NC transitioned to his heavenly home on Friday, April 24, 2020.

He was born on June 20, 1953 to the late Thomas White and Mamie Cherry White in Bertie County. He was a production supervisor for Roanoke-Chowan News-Herald.

He leaves to cherish his memories three sons, Brandon Moore and William Moore, both of Ahoskie, NC, and Jedadia Sumter of Newport News, VA; three daughters, Tara Sumter, Bianca Moore and Altranice Wilkerson all of Newport News, VA; one brother, Earl Ray White of Ahoskie, NC; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be from 1-7 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Hunter’s Funeral Home, Ahoskie.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2020 in the Chapel of Hunter’s Funeral Home. Ahoskie Hunter’s Funeral Home of Ahoskie is handling the arrangements.
