FREEPORT, NY – Doris Gatling Bond, 94, of Freeport (Long Island), NY, a native of Rich Square and a 1944 graduate of W.S. Creecy High School, died February 17, 2020 in New York. She is the sister of Rev. Dr. Bernice Scott of Rich Square. Funeral services were held on February 22, 2020 at Carl C. Burnett Funeral Home, Hempstead, NY, who handled the arrangements.
