AHOSKIE, NC – Eliza Mae Brown peacefully left this world on Wednesday, October 9, 2019.

Eliza was born sleeping on October 9, 2019 to William and Ashley Brown. An angel gone too soon, she leaves behind a loving family who will miss her dearly.

In addition to her devoted parents, Eliza leaves behind her one brother, Noah Harmon; her maternal grandmother, Theressa Joyner and husband Kevin; her paternal grandmother, Angleia Smithwick; her paternal grandfather, Jimmy Brown; her aunt, Heather Joyner; her uncle, Justin Smithwick; her maternal great-grandmother, Faye Coward; her second cousin, Cora Gore; and many extended family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at 3:00 pm at the Oak Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Greg Hurdle officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the Fellowship Hall. A private family burial will follow the service.
