COLERAIN – James Bradley Hall, 78, of 110 West Academy Street, Colerain, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019 in his home.

Mr. Hall was born in Bertie County on February 19, 1941, and was the son of the late Jim and Mary Bradley Hall. A retired truck driver, he was a member of Sunbeam Baptist Church in Franklin, VA and attended Colerain Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Dot Baines, Elizabeth Tanyer, and Margaret Askew; and by a brother, Owen Hall.

Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Annie Rae Blowe Hall; a daughter, Michelle White and husband, Eric, of Ahoskie; two sons, Ronnie Hall and wife, Cindy, of Ahoskie, and Michael Jones and wife, Renee, of Aulander; seven grandchildren, Brandon Hall, Braxton Hall (Monica), Devan Brown, Kaela Johnson (Peter), Brianna White, and William and Kaitlyn Jones; and four great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Emma, Charlie, and Lily Hall.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 6 at 2 pm in Colerain Baptist Church, and will be conducted by the Revs. Gary Saffell, Hoyle Green, and James Hutchinson. Burial will follow in Job Cemetery, Aulander. Friends may join the family in the church fellowship hall the hour prior to the services on Sunday, and all other times at the residence.
