GRIFFIN, GA – Dr. James Emmanuel Askew, 61, of Griffin, GA, formerly of Ahoskie, died Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital, Griffin, GA. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Carpenter’s Shop International Church, Ahoskie. Burial will follow at the Wilder-Cherry Family Cemetery, Aulander.
